Hi DLR Experts, my husband will be attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center. He will need to take clients out to nice dinners twice during the convention. We've been to Napa Rose, but not to other nice restaurants at the hotels or in Downtown Disney. Does anyone have opinions of the best place for this type of dinner? It would be adults, mostly men, some with partners/spouses. TIA!

Steakhouse 55 is nice for a business dinner. They have a private room, too, if your husband would like to book that. We've done group dinners at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen in DtD. They have a nice private space upstairs that will sit up to 20 people. Does the restaurant have to be on the Disney property? If not, there is Morton's and Ruth's Chris near the parks on Harbor (about 10 minutes or so south of the parks).

There are also some nice restaurants at the Anaheim Garden Walk, located on Katella, about a half-block past Harbor Blvd.

Napa Rose and Steakhouse 55 are the only "nice" restaurants outside the park for a professional atmosphere. Catal in DTD would be my next choice but everything else in DTD is gonna have a loud hectic everyone on vacation vibe to it.

If you do Steakhouse 55, you can do drinks after at Trader Sams at the DL Hotel which has a relaxing outside patio.

Chef' counter at Napa Rose would be a good way to impress and entertain clients. It can be a 2-3 hour meal "experience" .They have two tables of four and one table of 6 and they do only two seating a night at around 5:30 and 8pm. You have to call Napa Rose directly to schedule that.

We like Napa Rose then Catal in that order. We are usually pleasantly surprised at Catal's food and have not found it that noisy.

I just ate at Steakhouse 55 on March 6th and can easily say it was the BEST meal I have ever had. Service was excellent and the food was to die for! I am not a foodie, but my friends who were with us are and they ranked the meal #2 out of their top 3 meals ever. The short ribs were incredible and a huge portion. They even brought out a complimentary bite from the chef that was so incredibly good! Even my DH ate it and he doesn't normally eat seafood (it was a shrimp bite). I cannot wait to go back again. Kudos to Chef Marcel!
