Hi, I haven't personally seen either, but my friend has seen Dirty Dancing in London 3 times and has booked to see at MK theatre when it tours the UK (next year I think)! So I guess she thinks its great!

I've seen Dirty Dancing down in London and it was great, a must if you love the film.

Its been done really well and followed the story brilliantly I'm thinking of booking again when it tours in Manchester later this year.

I've seen Sister Act and it was fantastic. It was very funny and although I was disappointed that none of the songs from the Original Film would be in it I still really enjoyed it.

Dirty Dancing was ok, I enjoyed it, but prefered other musicals. The 2 main characters don't sing so it gives it a different feel.

We went to see mama mia in January and TBH I was disappointed after the DVD which I can watch time and time again.

Hi have seen and enjoyed Dirty Dancing, but prefered Priscilla Queen of the Desert. Not seen Sister Act but a friend saw it and loved it, she was lucky enough to see it last summer when Whoopi Goldberg was in it.

To be honest I did enjoy it as much as the film and I love the film! It has so many laugh out loud bits that you come away feeling happy

I've avoided seeing Mama Mia as I think I would be disappointed as I love the film so much. Part of the appeal of the film is the sunshine and the island - think this would be lost on the stage

You are so right, that is what I said to my mum who was also disappointed - it is the scenery, the island, the water etc in the film that makes it.
