Sirius Starmate Replay Question

Does anyone have this unit? I was told the music would come in through my radio and at times I would hear static......Does anyone know from expirience how bad it is?

I have a Starmate Replay. The static is some sort of interference. I was advised to install it with a relay switch that when you turn the unit on, it shuts off your FM antenna so you will no longer get static.

Mine isn't completely installed yet, but I have been playing it through my cassette player with an adapter and the sound is perfect!

I was told they sell a unit which connects to your antenna. It actually cost less BUT I cannot remove it from my car. It also wont have any of the cool features like pausing,rewinding and recording
