Sirius Radio

This may sound like a silly question, but has anyone ever tried to pick up a signal on Sirius Radio on the Magic? (specifically Eastern) If so, were you sucessful? We were considering whether or not to take ours with us when we cruise. ????

That's a good question, I was actually wondering the same thing. Hopefully someone will come along who knows the answer. I'd much rather take my Sirius along rather than have to bring CDs.

OK, for anyone interested, I'm about to answer my own question...
(How dorky is that?!?!)

I searched, and all I could find was some info about Sirius Radio working on a western cruise (to Cozumel and back) on another cruise line. And then I found one that said that it worked all the way to the Bahamas and back, so I would venture to say that it will work on the eastern, western, and bahamas cruises. I think we'll bring ours in September and see.

Anyway, so for Castillo Mom and anyone else interested, there you have it.

From previous experiences Sirrius only worked on the eastern route to the Bahamas could not receive a signal in the islands and yes for some reason Sirrius works in Cozumel.

XM on the other hand does work in the the northern half of the islands (North of St. Kitts).

So, pmarcum... would it be worth it for me to tote my sirius along on my eastern cruise in Sept?
