My Dad saw him a few times on stage, a long long time ago. Dad said he would have the audience in stitches just walking on stage, with that awkward sideways stumble he did.
I'm glad he had such a long and productive life.
Just sat here thinking about him and I have a smile on my face. He was such a funny man, my son used to love his films as well. There are not many that can appeal across the generation. At least we still have his films to remember him by. I hope one of the TV channels will pick up on this and run a Norman Wisdom season so we all get to see them again.
Aww what a shame, met him when I was younger when It's a Knockout came to Halifax and he made a guest appearance. Wow, that was a blast from the past!!!
