Sippy cups and toddler snacks?

Hi everyone! I was wondering....Am I allowed to take a sippy cup, juice, and/or toddler snacks (like goldfish, cheerios, and maybe a little cold pack with yogurt) into the theme parks? I did read that we can't take juice boxes into AK (because of the little plastic straws), and I think I read something about not being able to take any outside food into the parks. Is this the case? I don't want to break the rules. Maybe I could take an empty sippy cup and buy juice in the park?

You can bring sippy cups, juice (no glass bottles) and snacks into the parks.

Items that you may not bring into the Theme Parks include, but are not limited to:

Items with wheels, such as wagons, skateboards, scooters, inline skates, shoes with built-in wheels, two-wheeled or three-wheeled conveyances, strollers larger than 36" x 52", suitcases, coolers, or backpacks with or without wheels larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (coolers required for medication may be stored in a locker or at Guest Relations), and any trailer-like object that is pushed or towed by an ECV wheelchair or stroller
Alcoholic beverages
Weapons of any kind
Folding chairs
Glass containers (excluding baby food jars and perfume bottles)
Pets (unless they are service animals)
In Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park (for the safety of the wildlife), balloons, straws and drink lids are not permitted.

Yes you may. We take in a soft sided cooler packed with frozen kool aid packs and frozen water bottles (along with a few that are just cold, not frozen). By afternoon the frozen ones are still nice and cold but drinkable during the hot parade. We also pack things like the snack cups of pringles, dorritos, cheetos, granola, fruit snacks, etc. Just don't take anything glass, no hard sided coolers, or rolling coolers/back packs.

Have a great trip!

Great idea about the frozen juices and water!! I think we'll do that. Wonder if I could freeze the yogurt as well and just let it thaw...hmmm....

Yes. I did just that last trip. I love the disposable sippy cups they make. I don't dispose of them until the tops get too old, so I reuse them as much as possible, but if they get left somewhere I don't panic either. I normally bring one sippy cup in the cup holder of the stroller and an extra one in the backpack just in case.

Disposable sippy cups? Tell me more about these please. :) Who makes them?

Oh and don't forget that you can get a free ice water at any CS window. So if you bring one or two bottles of water, you can refill it with the free ice water. I personally bring those little crystal light flavor packets with me to put in the bottle, shake it up and YUM (and CHEAP!). This keeps you from having to bring several bottles with you to lug about all day.

We use the ones by Learning Curve called Take n Toss, you can buy them at Target, Kohls, even on Amazon.

We use the straw cups and they're great because like pp said, I don't worry if a cup gets misplaced.

Great ideas! I'm definitely going to check out the disposable sippy cups. Free ice water? I didn't know anything in Disney was free. :rotfl: Seriously, that's great to know. My son gets thirsty fast. We live in GA, and last weekend we went to the park. It was about 80 degrees, and all he wanted to do was sit on the bench and drink his juice box. We took him down the slide, and he would go straight back to the bench to get his juice box.
