We are flying in June to WDW. We will be there 8 nights. I was wondering if it would be better to get disposable sippy cups or the reg ones and wash them every day. What worked best for you?
We got the disposable sippy cups AND washed them every night.
Still, if one got lost of extra dirty, I didn't mind throwing it away (or if you buy too many souveniers and have to leave 'em behind 'cause they don't fit in your luggage).
I agree, they leak and aren't worth the hassle. I bring regular ones and wash them (bring a bottle brush and your own little container of dishsoap) If one gets lost or whatever, the sell them everywhere.
The disposable cups do leak and the tops pop off if you don't have them upright in a bag or stroller seat.
I like the insulated ones that Playtex makes. We just bring a couple of extras and wash them each night. It's vacation- so if one gets lost or too dirty to bother washing- I didn't worry about it.

DD will only use the Nuby brand sippy cups so we will be bringing our own and just washing them....I really hope none of them get really gross and we have to throw them out, but if so, they are cheap....and Wal-mart has a TON!

We washed them every day. We took 8 or 10 and lost 2. Better to lose a disposable one with extras to spare back at the hotel than lose nice expensive ones. KWIM?
Last year I took the Take and Toss and washed them out every night but this year I might try an even more disposable brand. I don't know the name but they are sold in the grocery stores in the paper goods aisle and each one has a different zoo animal on them. Those wouldn't be able to be washed but are cheap enough to toss.
There were some tips on here a while ago that suggested you take a regular sponge, soak it in dish soap, let it dry and cut it into squares. Then your sponge became a little pre-soaped scrubber. This is what we did and brought some $ store dishclothes and towels to wipe the few dishes dry.
My little one usually drinks from the Playtex insulators, which are great, but for the Disney trip I brought disposable ones along too. My daughter has a habit of throwing her cups down instead of holding them and all the cheap sippy cups would burst open or crack. I had brought one regular one thankfully.

We did a little of both...took 1-2 of DS's favorite regular kind and maybe 5-6 toss aways. I am so cheap that I washed out both all the time, but I liked having options (I did toss a few of the toss aways!). Good luck!
