I voted sink, but I have brushed my teeth in the shower a time or two, usually when I'm deep conditioning my hair and I don't want to just stand around in the shower. Not very often tho, our shower now doesn't have shelves high enough to keep a toothbrush on. :) As for brushing your teeth in your break room sink, we have people here who do it in the bathrooms, in fact I do. :) I don't do it in the break room tho, the bathroom is a bit more private.

In the bathroom sink.

I think it's just a waste of water to brush your teeth in the shower.

I think shaving in the shower, for both men and women, is also a waste of water.

Unless you shut the shower off to brush your teeth and shave, but I doubt that anyone does that.

Ok, so how do you shave your legs???? You do it dry?? There have been times where I've forgotten to shave my legs in the shower, and I HAVE to have them shaved, so I'll do my best to wet my legs, wet the razor, wet the soap, etc, and I still, no matter what, get horrible razer burn. So how in the world do you do it???

Ew. I would be more concerned about other things getting on the toothbrush.

Do you also prepare salads in the shower like Kramer... (that is a Seinfeld reference).

Well there was that time that we were re-doing the kitchen, and had no stove or running water in there..... DH invited people over for dinner...... What was I supposed to do??????

What an odd question. I honestly can say I've never heard of anybody brushing their teeth in the shower (except Kramer). I would not enjoy the hot water, I don't think.:confused3.

As for the just standing around while you wait for the conditioner to work, that's when I wash my body, shave, and wash my face. Shower agenda, in order: Wash hair, condition hair, wash body, shave, wash face, rinse conditioner, done!

I suppose you could save the shaving for later, with an electric - but they do not shave close at all. I only use mine for shaving emergencies.

Its the cold water in my mouth that bothers me. I can't stand anything cold. I order all my drinks (even iced tea) with NO ICE. I like everything to be room temp!!

Sink! DH likes to brush in the shower. I had never met anyone who had done this until him. His tooth brush is on the shower caddy. I'm pretty sure it gets suds from my hair...
So, is it a guy thing to do?

I do both. Some days I feel like brushing them in the shower, some days in the sink. What's so gross about it? When I brush my teeth in the shower I take my toothbursh & toothpaste out of the cabinet, put them in a little shower caddy, go about my shower brushing my teeth at some point, and then I put them back in my cabinet.

And why on earth is it gross that you are spitting in the shower? Hellooooo, there is soap in there! Use it after you spit, just like you would to get the rest of the dirt off your body!

When you do a deep conditioner you have to leave it on for an extended period of time, I have one that says to leave it on for at least 10 min, that's when I do "other" stuff in the shower, like shaving my legs or brushing my teeth. I only do that deep conditioning a few times a year tho so it's not like I'm brushing my teeth in the shower every day. As for shaving, ya, that must be done in the shower, if it's not I have terrible irritation.

If you brush your teeth in the shower do you only brush once a day or take multiple showers?

Whats the 10 minute conditioner that you use? I'm getting my hair colored soon, and I think I'm going to need a good one.

TIA

Well, since you asked.... :D

I use shaving cream (ones made for women, not men) and I prop my foot up on the edge of the sink, lather on the shave cream, shave, rinse shaver (I do this several times for each leg) then after I'm done shaving I take my shower. I have always done it this way, never in the shower. Works fine for me. :)

I'm sorry. I just had to answer that I like the shade of green my teeth have turned. :rotfl2:

I brush my teeth in the bathroom sink.

I really like the Garnier Fructis deep conditioner, it works great and it's for colored hair. Even tho I don't color mine I still like it.
