Single Worst Food Item in WDW

The Ostrch..., er, I mean Emu..., er... Turkey legs.
Think Neanderthal.

DH and I had what looked like it would be a really good strawberry margarita, from a stand in Mexico at Epcot. WRONG! It was waaaay to strong for either of us... and DH is a sailor!!! hehe. I took about 3 sips before I thought doing Epcot drunk is just not the way to go! ANd DH only had a few more sips than I before throwing it away. Definitely a waste of nearly $7.00. It was just plain nasty.

Here are a few of my suggestions.

We ate at the Backlot Express in MGM and had the Grilled Turkey sandwich, which had arugula and red peppers on it I got it without the peppers and arugula, my husband got it with. Either way very disgusting and my husband can eat practically anything that is put it front of him.

A few suggestions that we enjoyed were the breakfast buffet at Chef Mickey's, very good food and it was all hot. We went at 11:15am and it was over at 12 (noon) so there was not alot a people picking at the food, again, very good and hot.

Pecos Bill's in MK and Beaches and Cream at the Boardwalk for burgers were both very good choices.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the Margarita's were too strong.

There was 3 of us, I drank 1/4 of mine, cause it melted to fast, and got syrupy. I threw mine out. The other 2 ladies I was with, one drank hers and she must of weighed 100 lbs. She was pretty loopy for a couple of hours. The other lady drank half.

Sunshine, hot - margarita's, not a good mixture!

Ive got to chime in on this one ! Yuck on the Gaki Kori (sp) in Japan in epcot. Blah !!! but by far was the food at Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. Had The toast with the fruit and syrup AND the waiters long pinkie fingernail in it when he put the plate down in front of me !!!!! Arrgggghhh ! that was nasty !

The pizza from the window outside Spoodles. The sauce just had a funny and unpleasant taste, and there was a ton of it. The dough had no taste at all. Wouldn't do that again.

I would have to agree. I didn't like the pizza there either.

OK, well I WAS going to try the calzones at Spoodles but now I am too chicken to try it!! I'll find something else, thanks!:o

I find any burger in the World is nasty - dried out and kinda gray - ewwww!

That's how I feel about the coffee...just nasty!

BTW, does anyone know if the Swan/Dolphin use Nescafe as well, since they are not owned by Disney?

I wonder if more people sent back disgusting or inedible foods, if they would improve them
DH always says never, ever send anything back!!! ;)

Okay.... I definitely agree with everyone who said make up your own mind. If I listened to many of the negative reviews... I would have missed out on many of my favorites. With that said, my list of YUCKS include:

1) Hollywood and Vine breakfast... absolutely the worst meal we had

2) Tony's.... horrible (tried it twice and I don't think the third time is a charm)

3) Alfredo's

Ahhh.. DH and another couple we went with had them to, only they didn't realize it was too strong until after they drank it all!!! I had to carry around the 3 of them all afternoon... and DH is a BIG GUY!!!! :p

Turkey legs, by far. We got them one time at the start of e-night on January and the turkey leg stand under the Astro Orbiters was the only thing open and we still needed supper. They were hard and totally unedible. We each managed to gnaw off a few bites and pressed on.

Jiggerj, are you still having nightmares about that fingernail???

If you think the margaritas are strong, have you ever had a Dad's Electric Lemonade in 50sPTC???? OY! I had to have DH take a couple sips so I could send it back and have them put more sour mix in it (at the risk of them teasing me even more)!!! And even he had some trouble. WOW. I was rocked after that drink!

And I am a glutten for punishment because I would probably get it again!!!

Well actually yes ! And little non-smoking stalking midgets that pop out at me from behind the aladdin ride !

One thing I can't understand - eggroll cart at MK (if it is still there). I can't imagine walking around in the hot, humid Florida weather eating an eggroll.
They are sooooo good!!:p

I probably won't get the veggie sandwich at Tusker House again;) YUCKY...ech! But the 5 flavor margarita at Mexico counter...YUMMY :smooth:

Colonel Mustard did it in the Conservatory with the cudgel...er, um...the turkey leg.

:-C<<<

Those are just WRONG.

Trails End has my vote. We ate there for lunch in September. The food was either too dry or too greasy...but certainly over-priced. The only thing my kids wanted were the desserts in the case that were not included in the meal. We tried them again for dinner in February figuring the food would be fresher since it's a busier time of year. Yes, it was busier, just more suckers eating greasy/crunchy food. Never again.
