ok, this might be a silly question, but in 2 days I leave for Disneyland. My question is, can me and my boyfriend go in the single rider line? When we get inside the ride they always call out for two people and we always see seats that are empty where we could have sat. is there a chance that we will be sat together or does it really mean ONLY for single riders?

You and your BF can get in line but you can not chose your seat in the single rider line. Almost every time I have gone with another person into the line we have been seated seperately sometimes with many cars between us, sometimes we got the same car and some times we sat together, there is no gurantee.

Also I want to add that certain Single Rider lines DO NOT gurantee a shorter wait then the regular line. I have done the TSMM and Scream'n and waited as long if not longer then I would have waiting in the standard line. Most other rides were shorter.

ok, that's fine, thank you! :thumbsup2 I just wanted to make sure so I don't get any ideas when I see the 120 minute wait for indiana jones! :lmao:

Eh, do the single rider line anyway. IMO the time you save in line is worth not riding on the exact same ride as your sig o. More time to wander hand in hand. :goodvibes

Screamin' can definitely be a weird one. I've had GREAT experiences with it, but hubby got a rogue CM who ignored the SR line until absolutely forced to deal with them. Sent out "train" after "train" with empty seats...caused the whole line to be moved over the track (up the elevator, across the track, down the other elevator) where they were kept in a small area... He then put the newly-arrived single riders into the cars, continuing to ignore the first group. Someone had to get the seating CM's attention, and he finally just put them all on one train. Absolutely idiotic.

DBF and I have done SR lines when it's just us. We usually have the girls with us so we can't do it but we have had a trip or two without them. :) It hasn't been that big a deal for us, once we all 4 waited in the SR line for TSMM, DD9 and I were seated together, DD12 was on the same car but on the opposite side and DBF was 1 car behind us. Another time it was just DBF and I and we were seated together, another time it was just us and we were seated several cars apart. It just depends. Besides we like to ride TSMM together, that way we can work together to unlock secrets. Also, DD9 & DD12 will do SR line on Screamin', they usually get on the same train.

ok you convinced me. :) I might try it for IJ, but it all depends on the wait! Based on what I have been told on this board it shouldn't be too bad of a crowd!:thumbsup2:cheer2: and then of course... :dancer:

I just went up to the CM at the height stick and asked if the single rider line was open...he said yes, handed me a slip of paper, and directed me up the exit. You go up the exit until the room with the "don't pull this rope" thing, show your pass to the CM, and they'll tell you where to go next.

You don't get to see the line this way, not fully at least, same as with the FP line, and I recommend seeing the line fully at least once, if the line isn't too long (first thing in the morning, for instance...especially on an MM day if you don't have MM...just get yourself to Indy while the MM people are still stuck in line at Nemo or Dumbo etc). :)

(that worry is not there for Screamin' for me...I did the line once, it is boring.)
