Does anyone know what the typical single rider wait is for a ride, such as RSR, compared to the Stand-by wait time?? For example right now (8:10am) the RSR wait time according to the Disneyland app is already 60mins.

I don't think there is really any set ratio between the SRL and standby line...it can fluctuate during the day depending on the crowds. As a general reference, I tend to estimate that a SRL will be about half the wait of the standby; obviously sometimes it'll be shorter and other times it'll be longer, but that's the rule of thumb I use when in the parks.

I agree with the above. Last night Matterhorn was about a 90 min wait. My daughters used single rider and were off the ride in 30 mins.

One ride we rarely do faster with single rider is Soarin'. It is rarely much shorter.

I agreee, single rider has very little benefit for Soarin'. I've seen the single rider line alternate between the 2 screens, splitting groups up for most of the wait time. CMs have plenty of time to fill the loading lines, so few guests are pulled from the single rider line.

Single rider for RSR and Matterhorn are excellent during Extra Magic Hour.

I don't think I've ever waited more than 25 minutes on single rider for RSR. Unless stand by is under a half hour, we always ride single rider. You're going to have a stranger sitting next to you anyway, unless you have a party of 3. Soaring single rider, as already noted, is worthless.

Varies.

Take RSR for instance. I have seen single rider backed up all the way back to the entrance with a 70 min standby. That has got to be 45-60 min long.

Then on Christmas day, standby was 150 Min (yes, 2.5 hours) and standby line was SHORT. We had a single rider in our car who said he had only waited 12 minutes!

We always do single rider on RSR and the wait time usually averages 20-30 minutes. Sometimes it can be less, but if you are going during a very busy time, like this week, it could be longer.

RSR single rider is really great. It can be 25-30 minutes when the line is 90 minutes. We have used Matterhorn and California Screamin' with good results as well, but not as much of a time saver as RSR (still worth it though).

We rode RSR single rider fairly early one morning, and we just walked onto the ride, 2X in a row. (maybe 40 minutes after rope drop).
