Single rider line policy

I remember reading that there was an age limit to ride alone (i.e. in single rider line) for some rides (i.e. ToT, Everest, or RnRC). The last time we went, neither kid was old enough, but I'll have a 10 yo this time. I tried searching disney's site and the boards, but I couldn't find the answer. Figured this might make a 2nd ride quicker if we can squeeze one in for the older boy. TIA!

I was thinking single rider was 8? Can't quite remember but my youngest has done it many times and she's turning 9 next month, so you're good.

To enter a ride on your own you must be 7 or older.

If you are under 7 then you must have someone 14 years or older with you.
