Hi, everybody, long time no see! I haven't been on here in like, 2 years, because we can't get to the parks anytime soon for financial reasons. However, I love helping out friends who are going, and right now I'm doing an itinerary for my sweet neighbor who is taking her two teenage granddaughters.

I'm way out of date on my info, but can somebody tell me what rides still have single rider lines?

Also, am I right in seeing that there are currently no parades going in either park?

Thanks!

Currently there are no parades. The new parade called Soundsational is supposed to debut at Disneyland Memorial Day weekend. It has actually been spotted on the calendar starting May 26 according to another poster, but the calendar hadn't been updated beyond that date at the time of that post.

The Pixar Play Parade in DCA is on hiatus during the ongoing construction. There are brief Pixar events that happen several times a day, but from all reports they are basically brief stationary shows that appeal to younger kids.

Single rider...we don't use it, but from my recollection: I know Screamin' has it. Mulholland Madness had it but is currently closed. Toy Story used to have it, but it has been taken away. Grizzly River Run and Soarin' still had single rider last time I noticed.

Not sure in Disneyland. I don't think there's much left that has it. Indy, I believe, does still. Splash did, but it too is closed for refurb until late May. I must be missing something, but I can't think what...

It's great you are back online, hope you get back to the parks soon.

Single riders is easy, it's on disneyland.com, here's the link....

Parades are a different story. DCA may not have one until 2012 or even summer of 2012 due to constructions along the parade route. We have to wait and see on that, but in the mean time they have special shows with some parade characters. It's called Pixar Pals and takes place many times a day.

In DL the parade announced to start May 27th, is all new called SoundSational, showed up for May 26th on the disney entertainment schedule yesterday. Hope that works out for your friend.

Thanks, everybody! Dang, TSMM ditched the single rider line? That was a lifesaver.

Yeah, no SR on TSMM bites! We used to use it all the time until they took it away-and still no FP for it either. I just can't wait 45 min, or longer, for a ride.;)

We use the one on Indy all the time. Works great. Many times DD11 and I will still even get the same car, sometimes even the same row. Which is lucky since the last 2 times we have ridden Indy, it has broken down. One day we were stuck for about 40 min. just after going under the ball and then just 6 days later (this last Tuesday to be exact) it stopped just after we loaded. Kept us waiting another 20-25 min. before we were told to get off. Gave us a FP for it, but since the FP line for Indy can still be a long wait, we didn't go back.

Love the SR on Screamin' -Just used it on Tuesday. Had to tell some young boys ahead of us not to get back in the line after going up the elevator. They thought they had it all figured out how to cheat the system. They even tried some stuff once we were waiting for our row assignment, but the CM was great-she just kept telling them to get back in the SR line!;)

GRR-This one is a winner-especially when it's hot and DD11 wants to ride several times in a row. We'll usually FP (if it's not too far off) once and then she'll go a few more times by herself. It usually literally only takes minutes to get on a raft.

Spalsh-I didn't know about that one. Once it's back up that'll come in handy for when DD wants to ride it and I don't.

I wish they had more SR lines. I think they could really use one on Space. That line gets so long and the FP can have such a late return time on them. Plus I see many empty seats while waiting. I'm thinking it's a time thing. Since they are so fast loading maybe they don't want to slow it down with doing the SR thing?

Yep, no parades until Soundsational makes it's debut. But Aladdin is still here-showing 5 days a week.
