Single Rider and Harry Potter? Help!

The more research I do the more confused I'm getting! My q's for the forbidden journey & gringotts
1) single rider open during early entry?
2) do both rides offer a walk through of the que areas? My understanding is the line areas are very well done
3) I saw something about lockers? Do you need to leave purses somewhere before entering the line and/or single rider line?

You absolutely have to leave your stuff in a locker before going through the ride. They pretty much allow nothing to be brought in.

I've done the "tour" of FJ, and it skips a lot of the actual queue. I'd just get there early and hit the ride first, and be in the normal line first time, to see the whole thing.

The single rider queue takes like a second to get through, so it's best if you want to experience it twice. But yeah, you miss like everything.

I recommend doing the full queue at least once then use singlet rider for rerides.

Just a note: On FJ they rush you through the castle part, where people want to stop in line and watch the "shows" that go on in Dumbledore's office and in the Defense against the Dark Arts Classroom. This can be done with no wait, no rush and at your leisure in the castle tour line. Just ask a CM...um I mean Hogwarts Student where the Castle tour entrance is (you can't ride the ride in this line.)

To see EVERYTHING you have to go through the Castle Tour and regular line.

I used that line to take photos of everything, since I am a huge Potter fan.

Gringotts single rider line can sometimes be longer than the regular line, at which time they cut off access to the single rider line.

There is no "bank tour" line just to see Gringotts, what I did is took pictures in the regular line and let the people in back of me go ahead so I didn't tie up the whole line.

Good to know, especially because I'm going with a photo loving friend! And those pics look so neat, I'm definitely getting excited for our trip!
