Hi i'm off to orlando july 07-28th with my 2 children 12-14, staying at quality inn international, we are all so excited, i believe that in disney they have something for single parents to access rides with a child then go straight back on with the other, is this true or have i been misled,
Also if anyone is in a similar situation i would be happy to meet up and spend some time together.
thanks.
Bobby.

Both Disney & Universal have "Child Swap" areas - you'll just have to ask the ride operators who'll point you in the right direction.

You'll have a great time!

thanks for quick reply andy really looking forward to it thanks again.

Bobby, you could all go on at the same time if both your children want to ride.

Child swap is designed for parents with children who don't want to ride - so for example mum stays outside with child while dad rides and then dad comes back out to look after child while mum rides. Having asked to do the child swap mum would not have to queue a second time :)

Unless I have misunderstood what you want to do, I don't think child swap will benefit you here.

yes, what Miffy says is correct.
Child swap is for kids who don't want to ride (or can't ride).
So one parent goes on, while the other parent rides, then the parent who already rode stays with the child while the other parent rides.
It's so that there's someone to watch the small child.

I travelled alone to WDW when my kids were 8 and 10 years old.

on rides that they both could go on, all 3 of us went together.

On rides that the younger one didn't want to go on, he waited at the beginning with the CMs while my daughter and i rode.
But both of your kids are relatively old, so they'll probably both want to go on everything. So you'll all 3 go on at the same time.

On rides where seating is 2 in a seat, my son and daughter rode together and i rode alone (like on thunder mountain, i rode right behind them).

thanks for all information kids are not sure about going on big rides so will maybe be able to persuade one of them with me to ride while other waits to ride with me second time thanks again bobby.
