Should I take my Graco Double and possibily have "stroller battles" between ds 4 and dd 3. Or take my Maclaren Quest and hope we have no fights, whining, etc.

Hi there :wave2:

My kids are also 1 year apart, now DS8 & DD7. To be honest my kids rarely fight at WDW, they are too busy looking & exploring the world around them. Also, they are usually the best of friends when we're on vacation. With no-one else to play with they always seem to discover each other especially in the pool :grouphug:

know you will get lots of opinions but here is my 2 cents anyhow. I don't know whether your strollers are side by sides or front to backs. I had to abandon the front & backs when DD was big enough to yank DS's hair just to get his attention and say 'HI'. I liked the side by sides, esp at WDW, because the kids would always have cute little conversations together about the world around them. I always love lisetning in, its too cute. If one of your strollers is a side by side I'd go with that from experience. I wouldn't try and do a single because you will end up carrying a very tired & cranky child at the end of the day and they will always fight over who will get to sit... or walk (the grass is always greener on the other side).

Thanks. It's a front/back stroller. I'm kicking myself about not getting a Mac double! lol

I took my side by side Graco to DIsney when my kids were 6, 4, and 1. I thought it would only be for the younger two, but I was wrong! The six year old got tired too, so we would let her ride sometimes. You'll love having it with you for the older child! THe only problem we had was trying to take it on the buses from the Magic Kingdom parking lot. Other than that, we had no regrets and plan to take it again this year to Universal for our 1 and 4 year olds. Have fun!

I will be taking my side by side for my 6 and 3 yo's, but I am traveling alone too so there is no way I could carry one if the other was tired. Lawst year both of my girls would fall asleep in their stroller at night so I would definitely bring a double.

Okay, I'm going to get the umbrella stroller clips so I can connect two of them! That way I don't have to lug around the huge Graco!

I'm taking my Maclaren Twin Traveller for my 5 year old DS and my 1 year old DD. My 5 year old will DEFINITELY need it!!!!!! That's why I bought this stroller! I also might bring my Maclaren Quest for DD, for short trips to DTD, outlets, restaurants, around the resort, etc. :thumbsup2

I would do the clipped umbrella strollers. Your kids are too young for either of them to walk around at Disney all day. The average person walks about 9 miles a day at WDW, is the statistic I heard. I rented a double stroller for my DD's 4 and 8. They didn't ride the entire time, but it was there for them when they needed to ride, it held all of our "stuff" and we didn't have to listen to them argue. :thumbsup2
