I am taking my daughter for her second birthday. It will just be the two of us so I signed up for the deluxe plan and figured I would use some credits for her own meals/snacks. Is this frowned upon? Does anyone have any tips? I have multiple character dinners already reserved. Thanks!

No, you can share your credits... but an adult credit worth $30+ is not a great use for a kid's meal and I doubt a 2 year old could eat a full adult meal. Buffets will be great because she can eat for free off of the buffet (technically off your plate but NEVER enforced). Snacks though? go to town and share away. The best trip of my life was 2 years ago with my 6 year old as a single mom. Doing it again in December and he'll be 8. have a great trip!

You can use your credits how ever you like. Unless you will end up with extra ones, I don't think I would bother using them on a kids meal though because you just won't be getting the full value out of that credit, but it's certainly something you can do if you want.

Great idea!

I did this for the first time a couple of years ago after my husband decided he could not take another WDW vacation (he's crazy, it's okay) and it's turned out to be an awesome tradition that I hope lasts for many years.

I am glad to see I am not the only crazy one out there! I am hoping to make it an annual thing...especially while she is loving Beast & Minnie!

I took my son for the first time this past September. He was 5, just turned 6 in April. We are doing a WDW/DCL combo trip Nov/Dec this year!

You may find you don't need all those credits to buy meals for your toddler. The child will eat for free at all character meals anyway.
