We're fine the kids are just scared and jump at evey noise I guess we just feel vulnerable but we are checking out in the morning the kids want to go now I told them there is no way we are leaving in the dark I just feel silly and can't believe that someone looking at us that way could freak us out so much
I know my friends would come and get us in a heartbeat and I know they are Going to tell me off in the morning or not calling them but I just feel like an idiot for stressing

sometimes our gut instinct is correct -- your kids and you clearly picked up some vibes that this person was putting out, and i think you are smart to pay attention to that.

i've had that happen when i was staying in a hotel for work and it's creepy.

keep your hotel room door locked, if you feel safer, move a chair to be in front of the door. it's what i do when i have been in that situation, and i kept the lights on all night

have spoken to DH he says checkout. I did sleep with the phone and had a chair behind the door just annoyed with self as I did not like the area on the first night we are just waiting for some more movement around the hotel to leave. I can't get into the hotel we stayed at last year so I am not sure where to stay will wait till we get back to our friends to work that out.

Was bring a dish day we had the most yummiest chicken dumpling soup I have ever had, we cooked pies and sausage rolls which they think taste like meatloaf. They all Tim Tams.
The kids have spending time swimming and playing basketball with their friends.
Last night I bought the rest of our 14 day passes, our character meal vouchers or DL and our friends 4 day passes they will then give me cash
Today we hit the Space centre
I cant believe we have already been here a week.

The space centre was great we did all the new things we were there 6 hours and it was not long enough the boys rode the simulator which they said was like riding star tours i the way they compare everything to Disney the girls were excited that some real astronauts in training to them at the training centre We had jack in the box for breakfast and left overs for tea the kids went swimming at the neighbours and they are having a great time not rushing around.
I got another $500 Disney gift voucher today so 1 more to go but I am sure Andona is buying money there's nearly 2 cents difference in the $
Today I filled the: I had a $2 a gallon off from buying the gift cards. You will all be happy to know it cost me a whopping $21.97 to fill up
Spoke to DH before he is very happy to only have 1 week to go and now he is on nights so hopefully he will be adjusted when he arrives
3 and half hours till I can book the Fantasmic dessert package

WOohoo for the petrol price!!!! It just makes it irritated about the prices at home. They hike it up straight away when petrol prices go up but take 2 weeks to pass on any drops in petrol by which time prices have gone up again...grrr

And hurray for booking the dessert package!

Today we had pedicures my feet are on I am a thinking I need to find the time to do that again on this trip we also had manicures think I will give that amiss next time. we went to Kemah boardwalk the kids have had a ball 21.99 for an unlimited ride band nope it's not Disnye but they loved it for what it was then we had a very late tea at Denny's milkshake was great I isn't think much of my meal but everyone else liked there's. It's 12:45 I am exhausted and tomorrow I have to drive back to Dallas so I better get some sleep before the

drove back to Dallas Wednesday had Curry Blake conference last 2 days it's is great but very exhausting since your just sitting and listening. Applebee's for tea tonight and am determined to go to bed before midnight.
for the Aussie $ got $300 in Nike gift card and another $500 Disney Gift card tried to pay for Doubletree times square try told me I have to pay on check in so I think I will go get a prepaid visa.

Make sure you allow at least a full day for the space centre

The fuel discount, I have been buying gift cards at Kroger you get 2 points for every $ so each $500 gift card I have bought has given me a $1 a gallon off fuel. I originally was only buying the gift cards to lock in the $ that your not thinkng about
If you go on gas buddy you can route our trip and it will give you an approx price for your trip.

I'm confused where you are as, when you refer to The Space Center, I presume you mean Kennedy Space Centre at Cape Canaveral. Is there another one somewhere else?
