We just hit single digit dance time too -- just a short trip before our AP expires and to check out POC. Looking at the 10 day forecast, I figure we'll be hitting it just right!

Me, too!! We are leaving for our road trip to Disneyland a week from today!
I know it's hotter in DL area than it is here in western Washington, but it's hot here, too. If I'm going to be sweating, anyway, I might as well do it with thousands of other people, in the Happiest Place On Earth!

I plan to be napping, or shopping somewhere with air conditioning, every afternoon. I remember last year in the afternoon, dh took ds back to the hotel for a nap in the afternoon, and dd and I were exploring DTD. It was hot, even though it was only June, and we hung out at the Lego store for quite awhile. She was happily building at one of the Lego play areas, so I sat my ample booty right down on the floor in the air conditioning. After that, we went outside and had ice cream!

I love vacationing at Disneyland!!

OMG you are joking? I was hoping we'd get to SoCal and it'd be cooler than it is at home. We're having our heat wave over here at the moment and it's SO uncomfortable!!!! It's been in the 90's a lot of days. Looks like we won't be getting away from it.

I agree with Dukland... if I'm gonna be sweating, I'd rather be sweating with thousands of others at the Happiest Place on Earth. And it'll still be betetr for us because you guys have AC everywhere. We don't. I thank the Lord the store I work in has it though. Else I'd be on the floor...

Well according to the update on Mouseplanet it was 106 on Saturday. It cooled off on Sunday down to the high 90's due to a thunderstorm, so the humidity was over 70%. Another SoCal city (Woodland Hills hit 119, for comparison Las Vegas was 108). According to the forecasters, it'll stay very hot until about Wednesday then start cooling down to just hot for about another week. General rules for these conditions, wear loose clothing, put on lots of sunscreen and drink plenty of water. This would also be a great time to sample the Steve Martin film in the Main Street Opera House (DL), the Honey I Shrunk the Audience 3D show (DL), Innoventions (MK), the Whoopi Goldberg film in the Palace of Fine Arts (DCA), Playhouse Disney (DCA), the Aladdin show (DCA), the Muppet 3D (DCA) and Turtle Talk with Crush (DCA). All are inside air conditioned buildings.

Weather.com has Anaheim at 98 today... then 90 tomorrow & getting somewhat cooler everyday after until Sunday... predicted 82... then slowly getting warmer. Today is by far the hottest day in the 10 day forcast. Sure, hope they're right!

Don't trust the the forecasters 100% - They predicted a high in Anaheim of 93 today and it's already 96 (probably top out about 98-99).

They seem to always temper the weather numbers for the vacation destinations.

I sure hope so 'coz we can't skip the parks. I REALLY hope it's not THAT hot though. I've been looking forward to escaping those sort of temperatures at home.
