It's almost time to leave for our annual trip. So excited. But this time it is not really an annual trip. More like 15 months from the last.
Last time we went was Christmas 2005. Had a great week there with our grand gathering of a family.
After getting back I hit another message board to give my trip report when I see a win a trip to Disney contest posted. Of course I enter and a month later find out I won!! Woohoo.
We had scheduled to go in July of 2006, however one month prior my 2 DD's were with their grandparents going to lunch when a car rammed them twice and badly injured them. Of course Disney trip off. And with NO money and losing the car (they borrowed mine) and bills from all the various docs coming in (we have since hired an attorney to recoup lost $$) we had to say no to the trip.
Here it is in January 2007 and my hubby suggests we use our little bit of money we have left with our tax refund and go to WDW. But me looking at the bills I see we cannot really do this and do it right.
I call the travel agent who was donating the trip and explained what happened and he gladly gave us 4 nights at the hotel instead of 3. Staying offsite but that is just fine. BW Lakeside. Then 2 nights we are paying for at Comfort Inn LBV. We were also able to get our tickets for 2 as well. Just have to buy the kids tickets.
So now we are off on our annual trip. Sure feels good and we are so excited.

Ever since I was a little girl we used to Drive to WDW from Texas every year. When I first got married 13 years ago we couldnt go due to the fact we were newlyweds and making a home for ourselves. However after our first DD turned 4 we started to make the annual trips. We love them and yes we still Drive!! Why? Because that's how we did it for so long with my parents and it is good quality time together. Sure it's not the most pleasant time, but it's us together!!

We have no plans this time. Just to have fun. 3 days at WDW...we know for sure MK, but other 2 have no idea. Then we hit US for one day and then spend time with Florida family members last 2 nights at DTD.

Then it's off back home.

So we leave this coming friday. We can't believe we made it and our 2 DD's survived and healed to see another vacation at WDW!!!
