We are leaving for our first trip to California on Saturday and will begin our trip in Yosemite and be in DL on Wed. the 12th!

Finally, for us as well, today marks 9 days until we depart. This is when I become very difficult to live with! I am just like a little kid. Last night my wife told me that being around me during the last couple of weeks before a Disney trip falls somewhere between Christmas and being buried alive ....I wasn't sure how to take that!
As I've mentioned in earlier posts, we will be celebrating our youngest daughter's 11th birthday and our 20th anniversary while on this trip. Our middle daughter is 15 and thinks she is too cool for Disney, so when I suggested she could stay with Grandma while we all enjoyed ourselves, she quickly said NO! We also have a 17 year old son who loves Disneyland and will be taking off for college in the fall so there is a good possibility that this could be our last "full" family vacation for a very long time.
We also plan on spending a day at Knotts Berry Farm. The last time I was there was during high school, and that was quite some time ago, so we are looking forward to that as well.
We've stayed at the DLH the last two trips and are trying PP for the first time on this one. We are confident we will enjoy PP just as much.
Now I am just trying to make sure I get everything caught up at work so I don't even have to think about it while I'm gone. I refuse to bring my laptop!
I'm on vacation! I will also have to put up with some ribbing from my co-workers these last few days as they love to tease me about my Disney obsession , but I don't mind at all. Its all worth it.

That's awesome, I still have almost 3 months! And DH totally got my hopes up today by mentioning that maybe we could go just for 1 day in 2 weeks when we head down to Long Beach. I was so excited! Then I came home and he had changed his mind.

Thanks Stacymomof2! A trip to Disney is just what I need to get my summer kicked off right! I'm going to end my summer with Disney, too, so it's going to be a great one!!
It's been a long year and I know what you mean about them being restless!! The past couple of weeks have been rough, but we finally made it! Good luck with the end of your school year! Hopefully y'all don't have much longer to go!
