Since it is inevitable that ticket prices will be going up soon, I wondered if there is anywhere you can purchase single day tickets in advance? It's all we need, and would love to just take care of it to save us the $30 or so in increased cost if we have to wait.

The cheapest place would be directly thru Disney''s website. The other online ticket sellers do not discount 1-day passes. Most do not carry them at all and the ones that do charge more than Disney does.

Agree completely. Disney does not discount one or two day tickets. Any authorized resellers who may carry them will charge a premium over Gate for the "convenience" Your best bet would be go online and make your purchase set up for will-call.

Note that after you do this, if you decide that you want something longer than one day you can, after picking up the ticket and entering a Park, do an upgrade and you will save the "discount" from the Current Gate Price at the time of the upgrade.

Thanks. I knew I wasn't going to get a discount on a single day ticket, I just wanted to get them before the price increase. Didn't think about Disney's site itself, and have it as will call. Thanks!

According to Disney's own blog today, the price increase is effective this Sunday, 06/03/12!!

So we bit the bullet and ordered 10-day non-expire hoppers. This works best for us, since we can spread them out over 3-5 trips spanning 2+yrs. We're not close enough for AP's yet! But someday...
