Okay, so I just saw a thread from someone else who needed an audition song a few days ago. And I realized that I need a song too! I have like no good songs for an audition. I'm an alto. But not like Meg from Hercules. More like young Simba or Ariel or sometimes Rapunzel. Just depends. Anyone got good songs?? Not in a rush. Just wanna build up a library for any upcoming auditions. Try to avoid really popular ones. For example, this isn't Disney, but a lot of girls use songs from the musical Wicked for an audition. Most of the songs are ideal for auditions, but some are overused, like Popular. Sorry that I couldn't come up with a Disney example...But you get what I mean, right? I'm always having trouble finding audition songs, so thanks for starting this thread! I can't think of any that haven't been mentioned, but I'll keep you posted!

Hmmm...I haven't seen that show in FOREVER! I'll have to listen for those, though.

Yeah...but Meg is just a little to belty for my voice. You know what I mean. She goes really really low. I'm more of a medium alto. I can sometimes go second soprano.

If I try out for anything this year now I know what song to use, because my voice is kind of low like hers. This is a good thread!
