Since When Does Mickey Have Teeth???

If you watch the video in Dave's Blog about Animator's Palate on the Fantasy, it is SUPER cool what they do, but Mickey has teeth and that just struck me as soooooooooo weird. They looked so odd to me. Has Mickey ever had teeth before???

I thought that SAME THING! It looked weird to me too. I don't like to see Mickey flashing his teeth, and was trying to remember if he had teeth before.

I always thought he had teeth. Way back in 1928 when "Plane Crazy" came out I remember the famous scene where Mickey is looking in the hand mirror and trying to imitate Charles Lindbergh's ruffled hair and toothy grin.

I thought that at one point in some of the older cartoons (like 15yrs ago), that some of them Mickey did have teeth, I could have dreamed it. I'll have to pull out some of the old cartoons and watch them again.

Since he's been around since 1928, the teeth may be 'new' if you know what I mean.
