What were they before, I've never flown them, but am looking at direct flights, leaving on the red eye, and returning on the later 6pm flight from MCO. They are the only ones that have direct flights.
Actually the red eye going goes to FtbLauderdale. I stop there a few days to visit family.

The majority of the flights stop now in San Diego and I only see one direct a day. There used to be 3 also the cost and the point cost has gone way up!! We did book today on points for 3 of the 4 legs. We fly through San Diego and overnight flight on the way!

That's odd, because returning home from MCO, I'm seeing 2 directs a day, one leaving in the morning ( too early for me) and one leaving around 6pm.
I like the 6pm, cause can still get part of a day in at wdw, DME pick up at 3:00.

when I are you checking? I am seeing a morning and evening direct flight plus various connectors through the day for my dummy dates this summer.

Me too, for my August dates. Have you used Alaska? I haven't before so wondering how they are.

Last year I booked Frontier out of SEA, and they had very few flights, and ended up cancelling mine, leaving me with a long layover, on my flight going, then coming home they also canceled my flight, and booked my connection before my flight left from MCO :confused3 how does that work?

They do have great customer service, and re booked me on another's airline for the same price. But I'd be hesitant to book on an airline again that I haven't flown on.

Yeah we usually fly Alaska out of YVR or SEA to Orlando, I loathed United when we flew them one trip back home. I've found Alaska really good to work with. If we can get a good rate with WJ though we'll use them as we get extra free luggage with them beyond the 1 piece a person.... a dangerous proposition when it comes to souvenir purchases! lol

We flew Alaska from SEA to LAX, then LAX to MCO last year...I always love Alaska. The deals were amazing too..but I haven't found one as good since. We paid $199 roundtrip:yay: The nonstop flights were outrageous though, so we chose the cheap flight with the short layover at LAX.
REcently we flew from SEA to LAX on Virgin America for $149 return. The BEST flight we have ever had. None of us want to fly anything other than Virgin now!

Wow, last time I checked Virgin they were really expensive. Will have to look again.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The direct flights are really expensive now. We are doing points with a stop over going and coming in San Diego. All the direct flights were crazy expensive and too many points. We flew in April 2011 and our flights were $300 return...now it is at least that one direction. Alaska is a great airline. Wouldn't fly anyone else and they have a great point system.

I agree. We have been flying Alaska for years ever since we got started with their credit card and mileage plan. I think the problem right now is they are really trying to fill the new flights they have from San Diego to Orlando, so the better prices are coming up for the flights through SAN. I also have notice the nonstop to MCO is really pricey right now.
