So we traveled with baby and used babies travel lite and loved it. Well we are going again and it seems the company is gone. So has anyone come up with another method than packing way too much stuff in our suitcase?

How about mailing a box to yourself with supplies in it? Either to the ship, or hotel (if you are coming in early).

Or picking necessary items as needed in ports?

If you will be in the area prior to embarkation day, I second the idea of shipping a box to your hotel. Another option is shipping to Walmart for customer pick-up. If you are shipping baby food, I don't think it can't be shipped directly to the ship.

Enjoy your cruise!

I would see 3 options.

1. Pack a supply suitcase. If you are driving or flying southwest, this isn't such a big deal.

2. Pack a supply box of everything but formula and ship that to the ship. Or include formula and ship it to your hotel. Then rearrange and carry on the formula.

3. Hire private transportation with a grocery stop or have groceries delivered to your hotel. This is assuming you are staying in Orlando.

We did a combination of 1&3. DH is driving so most of our diapers and bulky stuff are with him. We also did a grocery stop with FL Tours to get the specific snacks and such that she likes.

I guess I should clarify a little bit. We will be at WDW 2 days prior and little bit will be just over 2 so no formula just diapers wipes and random snacks possibly. I know you used to be able to just mail a box but I have not heard of anyone doing it lately. If still an option we could just make up a box and mail it. It was just WAY to easy last time not to have to deal with diapers and the like for nothing other than space issues and daddy carrying another bag!

We have on previous trips done the following ...depending on the trip:
1. Packed diapers/wipes/snacks in suitcases and used the space it took up for souvenirs on the way home
2. We have called the hotel and spoken to the concierge in advance of our stay and had them buy diapers and wipes for us… they put the charge on our room account and the diapers were waiting in our room when we got there. This was the best! :) (and not another bags for dad to lug around!)
3. We have stopped and bought them on arrival (when we rented as well as when we hired transportation for us)
4. We have jammed them in the car seat bag that held our car seat and also gets checked for free.
5. We bought them on the ship. Not the most cost effective but it worked.
6. We had a grocery delivery service pick up food for us and had it delivered to the hotel. Awesome for food/snacks. Bet they could do it for diapers too.
7. We did have amazon send a package to us at the hotel once (it was a new suitcase- ours was damaged by the airlines) and the hotel gave us the package when it arrived- bet you could order diapers from amazon and they could be there waiting.

Enjoy your trip!!!

If you're staying at WDW, you can place an order with Garden Grocer and they will deliver it to your resort. We've used them on several occasions and it's been great.

I read somewhere on here that people had used Amazon prime to the ship, but I cant find it, was kinda hoping they would reapppear in this thread! Thanks for the thoughts.

Easy enough to pack what you need while on your entire trip while at home. Diaper genies are available also for the cruise on a first come first served. Diaper packaging in the bigger boxes makes it small enough.

Toilet training maybe while on the cruise can be beneficial and fun at the same time. Perfect age.

Snacks can usually be found on the ship.

Enjoy your trip.

We are traveling from Galveston, and staying overnight at a local hotel that I don't trust enough to send a package! ;) I think we will grab diapers at the store before we board the ship. We won't need formula/bottles since our daughter will be 18 months when we travel.

I'm disappointed we won't have the option for them to be delivered, but it was my understanding it was quite expensive?

My niece used the diaper genie option and also shipped diapers to her stateroom. No hitches were experienced.

We are staying in WDW prior to our cruise as well and I am having Amazon ship me down a box of diapers and wipes!
