Is it better to keep it simple with atkins?

Read the book, so far so good.

So cheese meat fish eggs

one cup of veggies and two cups of salad.

Do you have to add splenda to whipped cream, or is that to taste.

I just think for me simple food would be better.

I'm only in my second week of Atkins so I'm far from being an authority, but I've kept it very simple so far too. I plan on adding more variety after a few weeks, because eating the same thing day after day will cause me to quit.

Thanks

I've been reading some of the recipies and love the sound of most of them but don't fancy eating them just yet.

I 'll just go as I am and introduce as and when the need be.

Basically, I can only eat Meat, Cheese, Fish, Eggs, Salad and veggies on Atkins...I cannot stray off and eat any form of Sugar Free candy or chocolate as the Sugar Alchohol does not agree with me!

As for the whipped cream, I know alot of people here make it using heavy cream, but I have never had it that way, I am too lazy and buy the Reddi Whip stuff....of course, I don't use it everyday, but when I do feel like having some, I only use what I am allowed to have! :)

I use Splenda to sweeten my heavy whipped cream to taste.

I find the more simple you keep your atkins meals, the faster you lose :)
