Can you freeze Chocolate?

I have before and not had a problem, but for how long??

Any comments would be most welcome.

I need to make ALOT of halloween candy (snickers, m&m, twix, herseys, ect.) disappear. LOL

Thanks,
-Kim

In the past I just put it in a bag and popped it in the freezer. If it is there for a long time the choc. will get a "whitish" color to it but is fine. Something aobut the oils seperating.

Last year we had a BUNCH of Halloween candy that we didn't give out.

I just put the unopened bags into a large plastic bag and threw it in the bottom of the freezer. I was afraid that when it thawed this year it would have "bloomed" (changed color), but it was fine!

Unfortunately, we didn't have as many trick-or-treaters as we had thought this year, so I will likely be doing it again! (Would hate to have run out before the last time the door bell rang!)

oh you ladies have good will power! If I had chocolate candy in my freezer ... well,,,it wouldn't be there too long. I'd get the midnight munchies if you know what I mean ::yes::
have you ever had a frozen snickers bar ? uummmmmmmm

We freeze our chocolate and eat it right from the freezer. :teeth:
