Over the past few years we have come to enjoy making it to MK for park opening one day during each trip, and then going straight to Frontierland. Most often we pretty much have the entire land to ourselves, even when we have visited at very busy times of year. We love the emptiness while walking through Liberty Square and on toward Big Thunder for 3-4 consecutive rides.

I love the still-wet pavement, the music, the fresh smell, and the sun glistening off the beckoning twin mountains at the back of Frontierland. It is always a pleasure to transition from there to Adventureland for a mid-morning Dole Whi.... oh, never mind.

I hear ya. Great time to be riding BTMRR and Splash. So much quieter. It's exactly how we did our very first day ever in MK back in 2010. Did 4 b2b rides on BTMRR, and then did Splash twice. That was a Great morning.

We've split our park openings between Frontierland and EDIT: Tomrrowland, but lean towards Frontierland. If Frontierland, after BMTRR and Splash, we then we head to EDIT: Tomorrowland, and skip Adventureland altogether. We'll circle back and do pirates later in the day.

We had 4 MK days, and for 3 of them we went to Frontierland first :) We did BTMR 4 times in a row, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, Aladdin, in no more than an hour and a half. (splash was closed while we were there) It was awesome, I loved having it almost all to ourselves as well!! All of our fp+ were for Fantasyland in the pm. :)

That's the way to do it for sure. I love the empty feel. While everyone else is making a mad dash for A&E or SDMT, the other side of the park is calm and quiet. It's the best time of the day at the MK in my book.

Futureland?

;)

Oops, Tomorrowland... fixed... :D

That's what I get for posting on a Monday morning. :scared::rotfl::rotfl2: Been in a fog all day for some reason!!!

No worries :)

It took my wife over a year to stop referring to Test Track as "Fast Track", and even longer before she stopped calling AK "Animal Planet".

The best one I think I've heard was a guy on a CSR-bound bus telling the person he was on the phone with that he was about to arrive at "Colorado Springs"!

I'm right there with you. We hit Haunted Mansion first since that's the traditional first ride for our family and then head into Frontierland. It's great!
