a(squared) plus b(squared) = c(squared) so you have
33.94inches is the answer dear
i only went to two significant digits, i hope that was sufficient...
JEN! What kinda teacher are you? You're supposed to give the formula and then ask for the answer!![]()
The third side is the root of the sum of a squared and b squared. Teach a gal to fish and she won't come tapping on your door every time there's a right triangle to solve for! LOL
Jen's proabaly busy lookin for some Christmas butt to kick. Don't get in her way or disagree with her. She'll go to the front desk and have you thrown out. Got it???

Thanks Jen!! I was trying to figure out the square root of 1152, and couldn't remember how to do it. Now I see the "sqrt" key on my calculator! duh.![]()
this is really bad but I'm gonna say it anyway....
I am so bored right now (being home from grad school) that I am doing my little brothers online algebra homework for himand the Pythagorean Theorem was part of it (YAY YAY YAY I LOVE GEOMETRY)
I'm am not even kidding, I got a little excited when I saw quadratic equations, polynomials, and triangles![]()
For some reason I love math, so much that I spent hours yesterday doing my brothers, I hope the online teacher doesn't find it suspicious![]()
I guess when I go from being so stressed out and loaded up with homework for a semester to absolutely nothing I go a little crazy and need to get my homework fix one way or another![]()

why in the heck would someone even need to know that answer. Just drink a few more beers and it will come to you. I might not be right but then you won't care if it is or not.
2 days till we get to the fort.
We have a corner where one wall comes out 24" and we need to fit a TV in that corner. So, if we go out 24" from both sides, I think a 32" TV will fit at an angle?![]()
