simple costumes?

I am taking my DD12 for a 3 day trip next week and we will be attending MNSSHP for the first time. Does anyone have any ideas for a simple costume so we won't be too hot or too uncomfortable? We were going to just wear halloween t-shirts but I thought it would be more fun for her to dress up but since we are only going for 3 days I would like to pack light also. Any ideas would be appreciated!!

I went to MNSSHP two weeks ago and saw a few different families dressed as Dalmations. It was pretty simple - just a white t-shirt and shorts, with black dots hand-painted all over. Some also had Dalmation headbands (which had "ears" attached) to complete the look, and painted dog noses and whiskers on, too. A few families had long pants on (white sweats with spots) but it was way too hot to wear long pants, IMO. [Most groups even had someone dressed as Cruella de Ville with them, but that's probably more work than you'd want to go to.]

I thought the Dalmation families were very cute, and it was a great idea - so easy!

(PS - I dressed as a black cat - black t-shirt and shorts, plus cat ear headband. I should have seen if any of the Dalmations wanted to chase me!)
