Silver Plan ?

We are planning on using the Silver Plan on our Feb. trip. Does each person in your party have to use a wish for each meal? We are not big eaters and I know that using 3 wishes (3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts) will easily be enough for the four of us. I sure would hate to waste all that food if we have to use four.

You do not have to use a wish for meals for all people in the party. The wishes are pooled together in one account as it were. You can use as many, or as few, of the wishes on any given day.

I added the silver plan to our Fairy Tale Package earlier this month. We = my 10-year-old daughter and I. I did not use the wishes for my daughter's meals. Just let your server know you will be using wishes and specify the number of wishes you want to use.

We did the Silver plan last time and ended up having tons of wishes left over at the end, LOL! Our kids hardly eat, so we used 4 a day ( we only eat two meals a day ) so we consistently had 4 wishes a day left over. I think we had 16 left over the day before we left , UGH!

you cannot use as many or as few as you want, you can use up to 2 per person per day, you do not have to use them, but they do not carry over! If you do not use yur 2 wishes in one day...that is it, you lose them.

WOW~ That is good to know !!! When we went three years ago, I think it was called the Disney Resort Magic plan (?) and you had all of them for length of stay. We ran around like nuts the last day buying t-shirts, pins, and whatever else the options covered!

Princess -- I think you may be incorrect. I was told you could use more than two per day. We are doing Cirque and a meal in the same day. I just wanted to know if four people were eating if we had to use four wished per meal.

It sounds like my plan will work. I will have one wish left over and will use it to buy something.

We used the silver plan in July. You could use as many or as few wishes per day as you want.

I beg to differ also, you can use them all the way up to when you check out! Of course after that you would loose them. I think princess might have misunderstood someone.

We used 8 for the two of us one day, like above stated we used on one day 1 each for lunch, 1 each for dinner and 2 each for Cirque! A total of 8.

Then another day we just used another amount. They are your wishes paid for in advance, if this were the case if you don't use them on the same day, there would be lost of disappointed people!

We used the wishes last December, and plan to again in October.
You can use all your wishes in one day if you wanted to!
We have gone to fultons (2 wishes each) and also seen Cirque (2 wishes each) in the same day!

I called and made my reservations today. I was told I could use my wishes any way I wanted and yes if four of us are eating we can only use three wishes. I can't wait I am so excited.

I had wondered about sharing a meal with 1 wish, at some of the restaurants, splitting a meal will be very ample for 2 people, especially with the 3 courses.

I had a slightly different experience when DH and I used this plan in December. We had problems sharing wishes at two different restaurants (HOB and RFC at AK), so we called Disney Dining to ask what the policy was. We were told that it was up to each restaurant to determine whether wish sharing was allowed. I think the reason we had problems with these restaurants was because they are not Disney owned and use different register systems than the Disney owned restaurants.

In the end, we were able to use just one wish for each meal, but it was a hassle. At HOB our server told us that the wish charge was based on the party size, and they weren't allowed to lie about the party size. She talked to the manager and was able to change our party size to one. At RFC, our server kept telling us that we weren't getting our money's worth from our wishes. We insisted that we were, we were just only using 1 wish. I swear I explained what we wanted to do at least 4 different times. Since RFC's billing system is different, the bill doesn't show wishes used or wishes remaining. So, I had a wish usage report pulled by the front desk when we got back to the resort. I wasn't very surprised to find that we had been charged 2 wishes. I explained to the CM that we had only ordered 1 wish's worth of food and showed them the itemized receipt. They were very nice about crediting back the additional wish to my account.

The moral of the story is that you can probably share wishes if you want, but be prepared to explain what you want to do very clearly and check the number of wishes you are actually charged, especially when dining at non-Disney owned restaurants!
