What exactly are these plans and what are included in them? Would it be cheaper to buy everything seperately or are the added perks worth the extra cost?

Here is the tentative plan for January 2006:

2 weeks split between Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge
Planning on 6 day park hopper but considering length of stay pass
Plan on doing Cirque and Hoop De Doo
Buying Orlando Flex Pass for Universal, Islands of Adventure, and Sea World for 1 and 1/2 days each
Want to do a lot of character/sit down meals

Based on these plans what plan would you recommend? Could you go into detail on them?

Thanks!:D

Hello...

I've done the gold plan 4 times so far and for now I don't see the value anymore. It used to have a great value in the late 80's and early 90's but I did it in 2001 and thought it was still good but you really have to take advantage of the recreation to make it pay out. In 2002 I didn't choose it and I kept all my receipts then added them up and I actually saved $300.00

Now what I do is buy 1 AP and that get's you 40% off your room and 10% off a good amount of restaurants.

With AP the total expense is:

$793.00 for park tickets (2 adults, 1 5yr. old and 1 infant)

$550.00 for 5 nights AKL standard view

$500.00 for 3 meals a day

$1847.00 Total

The Gold Plan was over $3000.00 for those things. So if you think you can use $1200.00 worth of recreation then it's worth it. I found that buying an AP was better for me.

Hope that helps
