I read another thread on this board about the different types of Brittish accents.
Today I saw Shreck 2 (excellent!) Jennifer Saunders was the Fairy Godmother. With what region would you describe her accent?
She sounded a little different (kind of toned down) from what she does on Ab-Fab

Shrek 2 isn't out here yet, I think sometime in July as soon as I have seen it I will try to help you out.

Whenever I see Jennifer Saunders in anything she has a different accent LOL.

She is really good in it- I didn't know she could sing!

I can't think of any particular accent she has, either - she plays so many different parts in some of her sketch shows that it's hard to place what "she" really sounds like

I would say she's sort of Southern England - south of London - definitely not a strong northern accent there
