I'm planning on splitting CS meals with my 5 year old DD since neither of us eat a lot and I have been wondering how many pieces of chicken comes with the CS meals? I've seen a few pics and it looks like the norm is 3?

Thanks! :)

Are you talking about the fried chicken strips? If you are, then I think you are correct. It is about 3 strips, but they are large. DD8 and I always split the chicken strips and fries for lunch.

No more chicken strips at the Parks. They switched all the counter service to chicken nuggets.

This was a recent change. I'm not sure about the hotels, though

Ah man, I loved the chicken strips. :sad2: Has anyone tried the nuggets? I hope they're good.

nuggets?? really? I find nuggets to be more dry than the strips.... anyone have any reviews of the new nuggets? lol

Do you know when this change took place? We're talking about the adult menu, right? I was looking at CS menus online and the chicken strips are still on there at most places and the menus were updated as of 02/08. :confused3 The only place where I noticed nuggets in place of strips was on the Cosmic Rays menu. I'm not doubting you, I'm just confused since the menus are supposedly current.

I think they were talking about the kids meals. I'm like you and hoping that chicken strips are on the adult meals.

Nope, I was at Epcot and MGM this past weekend and the adult menus only had chicken nuggets. There is another thread about chicken tenders, too and somebody posted that Columbia Harbor House switched to nuggets, too.

Don't know about the hotels, though

Sorry. I love the tenders too

In the Magic Kingdom (Columbia House) CS, My wife had the chicken strips and I had the fish. As of last Sept. they were still strips and on the All ears menu that has just been updated for Feb. 2008 and calls them strips. I don't remember how may you get though and if they would still be strips. I hope they are strips because this June our DD20 still after all these years wants chicken strips.

Menu Date: February 2008
Captain's Special - Fried Chicken Strips and Fish - Served with choice of French Fries or Apple Slices $8.19

Fried Chicken Strips - Served with choice of either French Fries or Apple Slices $6.89

Hubby and I just ate at the Harbour House on Feb 6th and he got chicken strips. Not a nugget in sight.

Yep - my son and I both had chicken strips at CHH on the 8th! No nuggets there!

They changed it about 10 days ago. Another poster on a different thread was at CHH on the 21st and said all they had were nuggets.

Both Epcot and MGM have completely switched over. I haven't been to MK yet, but a few other posters have and have concurred.

sorry for the bad news:sad1:

How do we get them to bring back the chicken strips going in June and my daughter eats nothing but chicken strips

Complaining really does work. Not sure why there are heading this route again. Although, at least they have chicken on the menu still instead of those nasty "grilled" strips.

18 months ago, there were not chicken strips at Olivia's, but they were back on the menu Saturday, 2/16. Chicken strips were everywhere on DCL's Magic last week.

I would: write the email; write the snail mail, and call and ask to speak to a food and beverage manager.

The menu thing is perplexing. While Cosmic Ray lists the chicken nugget change, the brand new menu on All Ears still clearly lists chicken strips.

The Mara (CS @ AKL) has the greatest chicken strips I've ever had-huge, tender, & crispy. They were still there as of 3 weeks ago. My *guess* is that these will still be there, as they tasted very much like the ones they serve at Boma in the kids section of the buffet.
