Silly question for "first time home" at VWL

Where do I check in? Do I go to the desk in the WL main lobby? I didn't see a check in desk at the VWL when we were there.
Also, could you explain how the call ahead grocery thing works? Who do we call? Is it worth it?

Don't know anything about call ahead groceries, but you'll check in at the main lobby of WL. When we were there in Oct 01 it went smoothly. We got there about 12:30 pm and they had a room ready for us, a real treat. Enjoy!!

As for your grocery question.

You can print up a WVL grocery list off the dvc member website, fill it out and fax it to the resort atleast 3 days in advance of when you want them. they deliver after 5 p.m. on the date you indicate.


We faxed it ahead of time and charged it to our room. We were staying in a studio so we just got snacks and drinks, but it was easy and worked well. One thing to note though (and we found this out after we got there as it was our first trip) is that the little mercantile where I believe all the groceries are coming from is a very short walk away from the villas. So you might consider saving yourself the service charge and just pick it up yourself.
