I'm about read to order my park tickets online, and one option is "e-ticket", where I print it out and just bring the print out along.

How does this work, exactly? Do we take it to the turnstiles or do we take it to a ticket window first? The website isn't exactly clear. If someone here can walk me through it, I'd appreciate it! :wave2:

You take it to the turnstiles where they will exchange your printed ticket for a "real" ticket. Very easy. We've done it a couple of times and it works great.

If you are staying at a DL hotel you can also present it at checkin or at your hotel and they will exchange it for a ticket for you.

And if you happen to forget your e-tickets back at the hotel room they can look them up at a Ticket Window. (Not that I know from personal experience or anything...)

Ditto if you send your eTickets to the wrong email address. In my case they needed to see the credit card they were charged to and it did take probably 10-15 minutes to get the actual tickets in our hands. Er, I mean, not like this actually happened to me. :flower3:

Maybe this is a silly question... But last time we went to dl I ordered our tickets with a package from the dl website. I got them in the mail, as a card. If I print an e ticket will they give me a card or a paper ticket? I'm kind of nervous about keeping track of a piece of paper for a week lol. Thanks! :)

It's paper, but not really "paper." It's very durable... similar to the durability of a photograph, I would say.

We had 14 day tickets and they were the paper tickets and after 14 days they were still in good condition. Not as good as the hard plastic room key type cards but still in good condition, they worked on our last day. So with a week they will be fine.

Can they look them up if you bought them through a nonDisney site?
