Silly Parking Questions

Hello. I am visiting WDW in mid January and staying at Allstars.

1. I could not get breakfast reservations at Ohana. It looks like If I go early that I should get in with a walk up and a wait. Without a confirmed dining reservation, will they let me drive into the Polynesian? Would it be better if I just arranged to be dropped off there? Would they still let a vehicle in for drop offs instead of short term parking?

2. I want to watch the Electric Water parade. Around what time is it near the Polynesian? Since I am staying on property, will they let me park at the Poly for a few hours at night? If not would it be a good idea to park at the Transportation center and walk over to Polynesian (I did that years ago, I assume they still do that - can someone verify that for me)

Thank You

Yes, you can definitely park at TTC and walk to the Poly. We last did in November’21. We did that often once we saw what a short, pleasant walk it is.

Disney is cracking down harder on access to monorail and Epcot/Skyliner resorts. We were required to demonstrate we had an ADR at every Epcot resort where we dined on that trip. Were staying at VGF so used the resort monorail for those restaurants.

If you are staying at Allstars you can also take the bus to MK, then take monorail or boat to Poly.

No!!!! Resorts by parks do not have enough parking for resorts guest if they let 'others' park there.
How would you feel if you got to YOUR resort and there was no parking spaces ?

They will verify your reservation. But as far as I know you can mobile order just a drink or a banana or something and that’ll be enough to let you park there. Not saying it’s right but I’ve heard of others doing that with success.

We were told last November that entry to Epcot or monorail resorts required either an ADR or room reservation.

We observed more than one driver having a conversation with the gate guard and then U-turning to leave.

I agree it may be possible to mobile order and be admitted to resorts not near a park. But, I wouldn’t try it at any Skyliner route resorts either.
