Silly Little Thing, But DF Was So Bummed

Casey's Corner did away with the BBQ Slaw Dog, and replaced it with a mac'n'cheese dog. DF was so upset, that was his favorite food item in any of the parks, and he got at least one every trip. He was actually so disappointed he thought about writing a complaint email, poor guy.

Anyways, I know it's a silly thing, but just thought i'd put out a heads up to anyone as in love with this food item as he was, so you aren't shocked when you get there too.

Sorry to hear that. Surely there's some BBQ and slaw stashed somewhere in the back he can just put on a regular dog himself

Ah, bummer for him. That's like Kona taking off two of their popular menu items, recently. Hopefully he finds a new favorite

Now, time to recreate it at home! Thought it's never quite the same, it's still tasty and brings back fun memories.

I think a mac and cheese dog sounds awful. Better tell my daughter though. Sounds right up her alley.

My husband is the same way. He loves those hot dogs, especially the BBQ slaw dog, and I had to break the news that they replaced it with mac and cheese - blech! He won't like that one. Maybe the featured hot dog will be good.

I am not much of a bbq fan but I love those slaw dogs at Casey's!! Boo!! I"m sorry he didn't get to have it for his meal, I would have been disappointed too.

Mac and cheese hot dog?! Might have to try that out. Sounds like Disney will be selling more hot dogs now

It does suck when someone's favorite item is removed though. I still miss the jalapeño pretzels at AK

I'm torn about this. I was hoping to try the BBQ slaw dog, but I was bummed when they took the mac and cheese dog off the menu because I hadn't tried that one either. Looks like now I'll be mourning the opportunity to try the BBQ slaw dog but will get another chance at the mac and cheese dog.

We had a mac & cheese dog in HS a couple years back. I really liked it. Can't remember which stand but it was down near ToT in that dining area. If it tastes like that did I'll be golden! And as long as they keep the corn dog nuggets my DS's are happy...
