Hi all:wave2:,

Its so silly I know but ive had such a excitingday HOLIDAY SHOPPING Ive been dying to go Holiday shopping but been feeling way to sick to do it............
well Yesterday I had a day where i wasnt feeling too sick so decided that if I still felt well today that I would go shopping and pick up some holiday clothes for the boys,Shopping for Holiday always cheers me up and Ive been so upset that I havent been able to do it,

Well anyways I felt well today which is crazy as I only slept for 3 hours last night:confused3 anyways i bought loads of clothes for the 3 boys,It was more exciting then usual as my Twins have decided they dont want to wear the same clothes "they used to always match" and my oldest always felt left out so he matched too:lmao: it normally ends up being boring with me having to buy 3 of everything!
Anyways managed to spend a fortune getting loads of different outfits as i didnt know when id be well enough again to do it so 4 huge bags later and we found a suitcase shop,We needed 3 new cases for the kids to take as they used to take 1 then we would buy another bag out there to bring toys etc back,Well i fell i love with a great big flower print pink case and a Cherry print big black holdall "with wheels" I go bright so i can spot the cases amongst the other 100's :rotfl:

so we get everything in the car and realise the boys are at home with Daddy and they dont know about the holiday how the hell are we going to be able to hide 3 huge new cases plus 4 bags of new clothes:rotfl2:..

Anyways just had to share I hope you dont mind I know its random but its the most excitment ive had in life right now.

That's great that you felt well enough to enjoy your days shopping! Sounds like you bought loads of good stuff. The cherry cases sound lovely. I had seen one with cupcakes all over but it was sold out!! Glad you had a nice day :cool1:

That's great that you felt well enough to go and do some holiday shopping! :thumbsup2 I used to love to go and buy stuff for our vacations when our DDs were younger. Now it's still fun, but a lot more work!

I LOVE holiday shopping!! I have identical twin boys too but they always want to wear the same outfits, lol. They're 5 now.

I keep packing and repacking my suitcase, sad or what :rotfl:

I just LOVE holiday shopping, somehow it makes it seem all the more real. So glad you were feeling well enough to get it done.

BTW where did you get the cases we really need new ones but I'm loath to spend a lot of money as they always seem to fall apart after a couple of long haul flights :confused3

Hi I actually got the Cherry pattern ones off Bedford Market the stall was big and sells just bags and cases,I also hate the price of expensive cases! I have bought ones that was pretty expensive and lasted only 4/5 trips by the time they are chucked on and off the luggage belt and onto the coaches etc......The other case was a pink hawaiian pattern and I bought it from a shop called B&M not sure if you have any nr you? I love that shop you can get just about anything from that place at such decent prices and they had a great range of cases.

I was so pleased I felt well enough,Not feeling quite so great today though,Roll on 25th July neverthought id be so pleased to get my head cut open:lmao:

My boys up until only about 6 months ago had to have everything the same,Presents shoes clothes,
They just woke up one day and i put out their outfits for the day and they said we dont want to wear the same as nobody can tell us apart:rotfl: they said they was mad that everybody kept getting their names confused so thought it better to wear different.....I still half the time grab 2 of everything as its easier,But this time i thought since the 10 year old is taller but just as thin as the twins i would be able to pack more variety so they have the a few pairs of the same shorts and then a few that are different then a load of different tops and shirts to wear as we will have a washing machine:thumbsup2

I love holiday shopping too and I love packing aswell! I usually start about 4 weeks before with the excitement  Fab that you had such a good day!

Re suitcases, we bought quite expensive hard samsonite ones from House of Fraser about 6 years or more ago, we usually go abroad on average 3 times a year and while they might have scratches on them, they are in perfect condition and have lasted longer than previous cheaper ones which would have to keep being replaced! :thumbsup2

mmm hard shell cases .... Will have to investigate further ...... Anyone got any ideas on where to get resonably priced ones ?

I'm not sure because it's been years since we got ours but they really are great cases. The hard shell doesn't cave in on them either, they have dealt with batterings from baggage handlers and still as good as new! Hope you find some! :)

I got one of the Samsonite cases about four years ago, it's still in perfect condition (it's one of the hard ones) but to be honest, a bit impractical for our Florida holidays - there's no give in them so it holds pretty much what it holds and there's no flexibility for chucking a bit extra in! It also weighs quite a bit which when you're coming home, every kilo counts! ;)

We're looking at getting four new cases this year and whilst I'll have a look at the Samsonite cases, I'll be wanting one of the 'material' ones and I'll be paying more attention to the weight of the case. :thumbsup2

Yep that's very true! Sounds the same as my cases, very good, perfect condition but no give in them and they weigh a few kilos! Perfect if you have more than one bag allowed, we usually put the breakables in the hard samsonite cases packed with towels etc and then have a couple of other cases for everything else! :)

Hi we just bought another case from TK MAX! brilliant styles and colours quite a few different makes and at really decent prices!
I looked at the hard shell ones i was going to get one that had multi coloured hand prints all over it from RANGE it was quite big and £29 which for the hard shell was a really good price,I decided against it as we had the old fashioned hard ones and like PP has said NO GIVE and when i do Disney and clothes shopping I need it to give:lmao:
Places i seen cases that was resonable and good style and choice.

RANGE
TK MAX
B & M
ARGOS
THE MARKET ok they may not last years but they had some fab colours and styles and all at around £20 i bought some of the market a few years back and still have them, I just wanted new ones :rotfl:
