sillouettes and portraits

Do they still do teh sillouetted in liberty square. We had them done for our girls in 1999 and would like to get new ones.

Also do they do portraits? Does the child sit for portrait or do you leave a photo? Has anyone done this? I am curious how they turned out.

My girlfriend just had her son's portrait done in Liberty Square , kinda behind the Christmas shop, I believe the portrait was $36.00 and he sat for it, it only took about 15 minutes and it turned out great! Looked just like her son, it was done by a woman with short grey hair, I say this because I saw a couple of the other artists that their work just did not look as good as hers! They also still do the silouettes. I thought the portrait was well worth the money.

We did the silhouettes a couple of years ago...all 3 kids in one picture and when the guy clipped it for us, he actually did two at once and sold us the second clip for the price of the second frame. I think it was about $30 for TWO great pictures...was perfect Cmas gift for the grandmothers! I got off cheap that year!!lol I don't have any experience with the portraits, though. I tell ya, of all our Disney things we've picked up over the years, my girls in silhouette is my favorite thing!

It was one of those done with chalk, the colors were beautiful and it was not just a quick sketch. I am thinking of having one myself on my next visit. And yes there was an option for framing.

We have the kids, all 5 of them, done every year for the last 4 years and Jan has done the last 3. She is at Liberty Square. She is wonderful and will sign & date them for you. She is an artist that has her own web site and has illustrated 2 kids books this year. Look for her, she does an excellent job on the sillouettes!
