Silliest Thing You've Bought at Disney

You mean this week? :rotfl2:
Last Saturday we bought the coolest ears for St Patrick's Day.
Green mouse ears hat with a little, green Irish bowler that sits between the ears. :woohoo:

I must have these! Do they sell them all year round, or just for St. Pat's? And if they are just for St. Pat's, is there some way I can get them? My kids go to school in Dublin, and their school mascot is a leprechaun - we're marching at the MK on 12/28, and I would pure love to wear these to football games this upcoming season, sort of as an anticipatory celebration!

KC :sunny:

The next time I go, I fully intend to buy a Pal Mickey even though there will be no children in my party.

I bought one of those Mickey rings too. Mine had pink stones but the stones fell out!
I also bought a pair of purple velvet Mickey ears with lots of different coloured veils hanging down the back! I plan to wear it again this year even though I got so many weird looks! :cool1:

I got my dog the "my human went to walt disney world and all i got was this lousy bandana" and was bummed when I got home because I got a small instead of a large - its now wrapped around the door handle of where we keep the dog food!

I also got her Minnie ears (see below photo) that was the one and only time she wore them - doesn't she look happy!

The other silly thing I got was at Fantasmic - the light up thing you spin around and you can change what it says. I mean c'mon where else am I ever going to use that?

on our last trip i bought 2 of the red bandanas for my dogs! they say "my human went to walt disney world and all i got was this lousy bandana". i have the 2 most spoiled dogs ever! (chocolate labs), and i couldn't bare to not bring them something! :teeth:

I also bought the bandanas for my labs, one chocolate and one yellow. They are also very spoiled.

All these responses are giving me lots of ideas! I definitely want to look for some of this stuff when we go in a couple of weeks! :rotfl2:

Foo dogs from China... After doing the Segway tour in Epcot and learning about them, we just had to have them. I can't remember how much we paid, but they make great bookends!!! :thumbsup2

I'm interested in the big pez dispensers - will definitely be looking for them when we go next... :teeth:

Our award goes to the Goofy hat, complete with long ears and big bill. We still have the hat, but no one will wear it. "Seemed like a good idea at the time!"

On my first solo trip, I bought one of those headbands with the Minnie red bow on it. The one and only time I ever wore it was when I got off the plane coming home and my DH met me. His only response was, "Looks like you enjoyed your trip!"

We bought our two dogs the same thing one year! lol, but we didn't stop there (hee hee lol) We also bought them Minnie Mouse fur clips this past July along with a princess hat. We bought our cats "the good treats" (as we call them lol) and almost put over $60 into a small pink couch. I would say those are the silliest things I've bought. But it all becomes worth it when we see their eyes light up with happiness as we present to them their gifts! lol.

KCMiller -- Regarding the St Pat's Day ear hat, I would suggest calling WDW Merchandising and having them mailed to wherever you want.
They are very cool, I think.
Black ears, green felt beanie, with "Happy St Patrick's Day 2006" on the front. Small green Irish bowler attached between the ears. :thumbsup2
I would snap a photo, but the hat is at work.
I bought mine in a shop at MGM, the first store on the left as guests enter.
