silhouette souvenirs on main street

hi all,

does anyone know if the souvenir silhouette portraits can be done from a silhouette picture of a person, rather than the actual 'in person' form?

the reason i ask is that we're coming to DLR in december and we'd love to get a silhouette of my baby nephew for his parents as they won't be able to be there with us due to being unable to travel with the baby... we thought if we took a profile pic of him & brought it with us, they might be able to do up a silhouette so that we could give it to them as a keepsake???

any thoughts on others who have done this, or know whether this would be possible would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks for asking this question! I have been thinking about the same thing. I would like to get them as souvenirs for my colleagues as well. Hope someone can help!

I recall on a previous thread that while the person being there is best, they can do so from a picture, however best if the picture is in profile (i.e. a side shot). They can even do dog pics!

Yep! They can do it from a picture. At least one of the ladies will only do it if it's a profile.
