Silent Dance Party in EPCOT on NYE Question

Our family of 4 will be returning to WDW for our 5th NYE celebration and we always spend it at EPCOT. One thing we have never done is the silent dance party (usually held in Japan), but this year it sounds like it has been moved to Future World. I am looking for advice on how to join in on this fun event....do you pick up headphones earlier in the day.... is there a time we need to get in line for this event....any hints from someone who has done it before would be appreciated!

The Silent Dance party is done as a one-in, one-out kind of thing ... you don't carry the headphones around with you all day. When you show up, if there are headphones available, you get a set! Otherwise, you just wait a bit until someone is done and you take their place.

This. They have two DJs and two different headphones. People often trade off on the dance floor. I suggest you do this dance party early in the evening. There was about an hour wait about 10pm.

The PP pretty much nailed it. I also recommend checking out each dance party at least once as they each have different music styles and vibes, the parties at China and Italy always have incredible effects including pyro and laser lights! Epcot always puts on an incredible production for NYE!
