Do you believe in signs from lost loved ones?

Today was the two-month 'anniversary' of the loss of my friend, Kim.

We had a really big thunderstorm today, the kind that she loved.

Right after the storm ended, I had a big fight with my best friend.

In the car not even an hour later, Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) played. Mom and I went to Kohl's, got back in the car. Turn on the radio. And what song is it in the middle of? Good Riddance (Time of Your Life). This was one of Kim's favorite songs, and Green Day was her favorite band.

This song hasn't been on the radio around here in forever.

And then twice in 10 minutes?

*shivers*

Do you believe in signs from the beyond?

I believe completely things like that happen, because of a loved ones death.

Just because they're not right next to you, doesn't mean they're not there. Thats just how I see it.

Yes. Saw My Sister's Keeper today, got in the car, and on comes The Climb. That was my friend's song.

Weird.

Mhm.
And I'll even take songs as a sign from people that are still around. That we're still thinking of each other and stuff.

Yes I do believe in signs. I don't think our loved ones every really leave us.

Yes. But I haven't really like experienced anything.

yes, i believe.
my uncle died last year on may 28th. my doll that ive been pining after for 6 years arrived on may 28th of this year. my family was all sad and depressed, but when the doll showed up it instantly made everyone feel happier. not too weird, but the only one i can think of at the moment.

yesss

My grandma said that one night she had a dream of her father hugging her and saying "I will always love you." annd when she woke up, she found out he died in his sleep :sad1:

I think that in certain memorable situations, a person might just come back and say hello. For example, I stayed at my friends house the other day. His uncle had just died 2 days before. The alarm clock went off without batteries. This was even wierder because he was always the first person awake and he always woke everybody up. Kind of wierd i think. How does an alarm clock go off without batteries? I can't explain it.

Yes. Indeed I do.
Cant say why...or how...but I do.

No, not like that.

I hope that my loved ones are watching over me, but I'm sorry, I don't believe they give us true 'signs' like that. I'd feel they were restless or not happy if I were getting 'signs' like that I believed was from a loved one.

IMHO.

they could give signs good or bad. they only want to help.

I completely believe in signs and all of that.
I think our loved ones can communicate with us if they so choose.

I believe we understand so very little about the world, the afterlife, and how they're connected.
I also believe we'll never know the truth until we die..
And lastly, I believe nearly anything is possible, including signs.. though I've never seen one.

I definitely believe that loves ones who have passes away send us signs and messages. I've had a lot of experiences in my life that have proven this theory.

I was really close to my great-grandmother when I was really young. She adored me because I was the only girl in out of her great-grandchildren. My mom and I would always go and visit her in the nursing home, and I actually remember it. I was probably 2 or 3, and they are my first memories.

So I came down with pneumonia, and I was really sick. And my great-grandmother was really sick as well, but she was really worried about me and not herself. My mom was downstairs in the kitchen and I was sleeping in my room when she got the phone call that my great-grandmother passed away. I never talked in my sleep before, but as soon as my mom found out she died, all she heard was me babbling in the baby monitor. She knew it was my great-grandmother stopped by to make sure I was ok before going to Heaven, and my babbling was me telling her I was ok.

And after my grandfather, who I was really close to, passed away, I had a dream about him coming down to visit during his funeral, and I was the only one who could see him. Also, at his viewing, my cousin and I were outside and we started catching fireflies (He died in early June). There was one firefly that landed on me and wouldn't leave for a long time. And usually they don't hang around for a while. Something told me it was Pop visiting me.

Also, while that same grandfather was in the hospital, right before he died, my older brother graduated high school. After the ceremony was over, my brother randomly found a golf ball laying by his car. My grandfather, him, and my dad were all big golfers.
