Some of our trees are starting to change colors and you can hear the crickets! Our pumkins are starting to turn color. :cool1:

and tonight is our first home football game (preseason); I can't wait...

Autumn is my favorite time of the year!!!!! Now, if we could just get some of the cooler temperatures, I would be thrilled!

Enjoy the game tonight, yes we do need for it to cool down! :thumbsup2

I can't wait!!! Mums are starting to show up at farms in the area!!! :yay::yay:

Some of our trees have been changing and falling as well. Some b/c they are the type of tree that change in August and others b/c we haven't had much rain.

I'm looking forward to some cooler (but not too cool) weather, but I'm not looking forward to my hay fever and sinuses kicking in b/c of the change in season :headache:

The first sign here is the sound of the cicadas. That started a couple of weeks ago.

Looking forward to more signs this upcoming week. I think our night temps are going to finally drop into the 60's (hopefully!).

We won't get color change until we have some night temps in the 50's.

Crickets are a sign of autumn? We've had crickets going all summer...and frogs...and all kind sof noisy critters at night.

Our thermometer dipped down into the forties last night.

The Oktoberfest and autumn beers started appearing this week at my local distributor! My favorite season of the year

Ugh not here! It is still in the 90s everyday and all gross and yucky outside! (We are in FL.)

I'm jealous! I LOVE LOVE LOVE fall. :)

Fall will come soon enough around here and then winter will stay forever so I'm enjoying the last days of summer here in Michigan. Bring on the heat!!:sunny:

btw....how's your DD feeling? Is she home from the hospital yet?

Two things: It's getting dark earlier and high school football season started last night! :cool1:

I LOVE Fall, it can't come soon enough.

I think I hear crickets now. You know how you hear something so much, you don't realize it until someone points it out? That's what happened when I read your post. lol

We don't see too much change until October or early November here. We've had crickets all summer so I don't think that holds true for this area.

I love the fall!

Hi there! How are you and everyone else in your household feeling today? Better, I hope! :goodvibes

This is the first morning since I don't know when that I can actually say it's cold in here today! :thumbsup2 Feels great - didn't even have to sleep with the a/c on last night - got down into the 40's..

I think fall is on it's way and we can say goodbye to one of the hottest summers up here in years..:goodvibes

Fall is my favortie time of year up here - even though it means I'll have to leave in a few months.. Still, I love the crisp, clean air - everyone being gone (LOL) - the trees changing color - and walking through the crunchy, "rice-krispie" sounding leaves on the ground..:yay: Won't be long now! :goodvibes

Hay fever and other allergies are already kicking in around here. One week it was fine and this week everyone is walking around in a fog from it. Today has been HORRIBLE for me. Though it does explain why I have not been sleeping well and I would rather it be allergies then something more serious.

I love fall and I am so excited for it to get here. September is the Celtic Festival, October is the Apple Festival, my anniversary, Halloween, and our big fall trip to the outlets, November is the Christmas Craft Fair and Thanksgiving, and then on to winter.

What I wouldnt give for a day where the high temp wasnt 95+ degrees...UGH..I am SOOO ready for the cooler weather here in FL...just as long as it isnt as bad as last winter..

I love the fall, I can't wait for it to get here. Some of the trees are already changing colors on my block.
