I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on the monthly pin events. We're going down later this year. How do I find out what each monthly pin event is & how do I sign up?

To all those who have attended pin events in the past, are there any other details about the events themselves I should know ahead of time? Any advice? Pros & cons? Are they kid-friendly? How much time can I expect the whole event to take?

Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
I am not on top of the pin trading world like I used to be, but thought I would just drop my 2 cents here.
At Walt Disney World, there are pin events where you pay an admission fee (you must preregister) in addition to your park admission. These are not monthly, but a few times a year.
Here is the list of events at WDW this year

Pin Events from Disney.com

Weekly, they have pin trading nights, I believe they start around 7pm and they are
Thursday at All Star Sports Food Court
Friday at the Contemporary in the Grand Concourse (4th floor where the shops are)

Hope that helps...

The events and the weekly pintrading nights are kid friendly.

There are separate areas for kids to trade with cast members and other kids (age 9 and below), and crafts and games only for the kids.

When there are pintrading boards for adult guests, there is usually a separate board for kids.

The annual Epcot event has entertainment that appeals to all ages.

Robyn,

I am not sure that Lauri is going to appreciate that you are referring to her as entertainment. Personally I think she is too but at least I don't go telling everyone. I think that in September we should call her "Tain-y".

Can SOMEONE please remind me why I am friends with this dude?

Jeff... be careful - remember I am the keeper of the trader pins and the hotel reservations for us for September!! You don't want to be pinless and on the street for September now, do you? ;)

Wait, that was you on the phone telling me we had a hotel room?

No wonder Trina had no clue what I was talking about when I asked her what we were going to do with the kids for the night. It probably didn't help when I told her I get calls from women all the time telling me they have hotel rooms. I just figured I was becoming some kind of hotel monitor or something.

I believe it is pretty clear to one and all that the real entertainment at the Epcot Event will be:

THE JEFF & LAURI SHOW!

::yes:: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :jumping3: :rockband: :jumping3: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :hyper:

So sign up now and don't miss any of the show! :moped: :tilt: :earboy2:
