Signing the contract... sorry for another question!

Sorry for asking so many questions! I'm just so excited and the 12-month mark is quickly approaching, which means my parents are asking when they need to get the deposit and other money ready.
My question is this- we would have the contract drawn up around August 18th, but that's a Saturday. Would the do it before then to have it sent out, or will it take until the following week? And, either way, I doubt I'll have it by the time we check into Disney that following Thursday (the 23rd), so is it possible for us to sign the contract in Disney while we're there?

I think you would have to call on Monday to find out about the date. Once you call it takes a few hours to a day for them to return your call (when you find out if you got the date). After we confirmed our date, we had our contract in our email that evening. We printed our contract, initialed, signed, wrote our $500 deposit check (we're an Intimate), and mailed it back to DFTW. After they received it, it took about 3 weeks for them to return a copy signed by them. We were able to start planning in the meantime.

If you are a custom, it could be a different process. HTH!

If your date is on a Sat or Sun you would have to call back on Monday. If you end up in a lottery they will do the "drawing" the following Monday, they save them up all week and do all lotteries on Mondays. (at least thats what my SM told me...but who knows if she knew what she was saying lol)
