SO. I'm planning on seeing a few of the models in a month and then I'll find out what perks they have at that moment and then we're off to our cruise. So say I like the offer they have on board, do I have to sign right there and then? Do I have to come up w/ my downpayment and closing costs all at that time? Does that leave the guide that ash helped me to this point out in the cold? Do I have time to back out if I learn something that I didn't know on the ship?
THANKS to everyone for being SOOO AWESOME and upfront about everything! I plan on going in as educated as my little mind will allow me.
I have tested my DH a few times to make sure he was on board by saying "Hon, I don't think we should do it." I get the most puzzling and sad looks. Yep, he's on board.

THANKS for all the public and private help. It's like a big family this
THANK YOU!!!!

Just like any business. They all seem to look for that magic breaking point. Which thankfully for Disney, *knocks on wood* seems to be much higher than average. I hope.
I think it's unfortunate but I am not surprised, by any company doing it. It seems when one gets a busienss model, they ALL jump on it. Other than the standard of making it cheaper for them and increasing profits, the new FUN model is to abuse your employees to the max because they are happy to be employed and you can abuse them.
And if they quit? You get someone younger, cheaper and motivated.
I bet that was nice to have.
Parking can be a BEAR. When I had my mom w/ us last time at the Poly, she brought her handicapped tag to park a little closer when we could but those slots were ALWAYS full. WAY off peak too. sigh
