It’s a Signia brand hotel. They’re part of the Hilton portfolio of hotels. There are only a couple of Signia hotels across the country. The Hilton website shows only 3; this one at WDW, one in Atlanta, and one in San Jose.
“Bonnet Creek” is the general area where the hotel is located. Kind of like saying something is in Midtown Manhattan / SoHo / Harlem, etc. when taking about NYC.
It is not a Disney owned or operated hotel. It is connected to the Waldorf Astoria, another Hilton-branded hotel. They share amenities. While these 2 hotels are connected, they don’t have any other affiliated hotels in that area. One of the amenities that Signia and Waldorf Astoria share is a coach shuttle bus to/from WDW parks. Here’s its schedule :
https://www.bonnetshuttle.com/ . It is not a Disney-owned or operated shuttle. Reviews that I’ve read are generally positive regarding the shuttle.
While staying at Signia allows for early entry, please keep in mind that since it is not a Disney-owned hotel, drop off and pickup for shuttles to, e.g., Magic Kingdom would be by TTC, meaning another step / more time required before you’re in the parks and/or back to the hotel.
I have never stayed here. Almost booked a couple of times with points, but have not yet committed. People rave about the lazy river that’s onsite. Restaurants seem good. It gets pretty darn good reviews in general, including cleanliness. Value of what you get versus the Disney-owned hotels seems good. I will likely commit to a stay in the not too distant future. The only thing holding me back is the extra time/effort required for their shuttles as opposed to Disney-owned or transport available to or next to Swan/Dolphin. If we had older kids it wouldn’t be an issue, but with 2 wee ones ages 4 and 0, I like being able to get back to the room quicker if there’s a meltdown.
